SHIPPING TO OTHER COUNTRIES
Q: Does AMA Fine Jewelry ship to other countries?
A: Indeed, we do! Items in your order targeted for shipment to countries other than the United States may be subject to taxes, customs charges, and fees imposed by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The importer of record in the destination country is the recipient of the shipment, and he or she is responsible for any Import Fees.
You allow AMA Fine Jewelry to choose a carrier ("Designated Carrier") to serve as your agent with the necessary customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your product, process and refund the real Import Fees for such item.
If you decline a shipment from us, you will be charged for the original shipping expenses, any Import Fees, and the cost of returning the box to AMA. Your merchandise refund will be reduced by this amount. If you have any more queries, please email me.
SALES TAX
Q: Will I have to pay sales tax?
A: Sales tax is only collected on items sent within the United States, and it is calculated based on the county's unique tax amount. Sales tax is not applied to international orders.
CLEANING AND CARE
Q: How should I take care of my jewelry?
A: Jewelry is fragile and should be handled with care. Some pointers are as follows:
Remove your jewelry before doing daily routines such as showering, lotion, perfume, exercise, dishwashing, and so on.
Lay down your jewelry flat before night to minimize tangling/scratching.
When removing a necklace, fasten it to prevent the chain from tangling or knotting.
We recommend using any anti-tarnish silver polish purchased at your local supermarket or drugstore to completely remove tarnish and any stains from your silver or plated jewelry. Tarn-X and Hagerty are two products that we have discovered to be successful.
When dealing with silver polish, always use gloves and follow the instructions on the container.
To clean your diamond jewelry, carefully scrape the gold and diamonds with a gentle toothbrush and dish soap.
DISCOUNTS
Q: What are discount codes and how do they work?
A: Discounts can be added to your order during the checkout process using any supplied Discount Code. Discounts are ONLY VALID ON SPECIFIC ITEMS and for limited time periods. We cannot apply a discount coupon to an order that was placed before the Discount Code became effective. We are unable to apply the Discount Code to an order if the code was not entered. Discount coupons are not combinable and do not apply to Gift Cards.
TIME FOR PRODUCTION
Q: How long will it take for my delivery to arrive?
A: Each item has a unique processing time, which is listed at the bottom of the product description on the product pages. Once an item has shipped, it should arrive within 3-5 business days. For details about expedited delivery, please check "Rush Options." ** Please keep in mind that if you purchase numerous goods, we will combine them into one shipment unless otherwise specified; simply put "may ship separately" in the order comments.
REPAIRS
Q: Can you tell me about your repair policy?
Q: What is your policy on repairs?
A: We will repair any breakage caused by a manufacturing fault free of charge within 120 days of purchase for 14K, 18K, and Silver/Gold-Plated items within 30 days of receipt. Repairs required beyond these deadlines or considered to be the result of misuse will impose a repair cost at the customer's responsibility, starting at $30. (plus any applicable shipping fees). Please notify us in advance if you want to send a repair by sending an email with the original purchase's name and order number. Please provide your name, phone number, and preferred return address where someone will be present to sign for the item upon delivery when mailing repairs.
GIFT WRAP
Q: I'm buying a present. I'd want to write a gift message to go with the present. How do I go about doing this?
A: When you make your order, please indicate that you would prefer gift-wrapping, and a lovely gift box and gift card will be included for an extra $10.
RUSH OPTIONS
Q: Is there a rush option?
A: Some of our styles can be hastened, but not all of them can. If you'd like to place a rush order, please send an email to info@amafinejewelry.com with the order details and a request for processing time and speeding the item, as well as the date you'd like to get it by. If a rush option and overnight shipment are available for that exact style, we will notify you immediately away. Please include the order number in your email if you have already placed your order (found in the confirmation email you received).
